These initiatives are relevant and accessible to anyone who works with children and young people.<\/p>\n<p>EIATSCYP is a European interdisciplinary association that promotes the interests of children and young people by encouraging a multidisciplinary approach to therapeutic services. The organisation brings together professionals from different disciplines and supports them with the necessary resources to provide effective and holistic care to children and young people. An important aspect of EIATSCYP is its emphasis on the accreditation of training programmes, with a focus on quality assurance and professional competencies. Our \u201cTraining to become an IV child and youth counsellor\u201d is recognised by EIATSCYP.<\/p>\n<p>Below you will find more information about both initiatives. Please note: these are not announced on the EIATSCYP website.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Trauma &amp; resilience<\/strong> &#8211; On Tuesday 18 November, you can take part in a free online evening event organised by EIATSCYP (from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Belgian time) featuring lectures, seminars and discussion groups on the theme of trauma and resilience in children and young people. The aim of this evening is to reflect together on different types of trauma and to consider the multifaceted influences and current insights in the field of mental health and emotional well-being in children. We will look at both protective and risk factors in negative and positive experiences during childhood, and at the importance of early intervention and prevention through therapeutic treatments.<br \/>\nThere will be lectures and seminars, and discussion groups will be formed for reflection and dialogue between colleagues. The working language is English.<br \/>\nNaomi Moore and Jocelyne Quennell have many years of experience in teaching and training therapists in creative and relational approaches for children and adults, embedded in context, equality and diversity.<br \/>\n<em>&gt; Interested? The theme of these online meetings is learning together with children, young people, families, individuals and communities how we can provide better care in an increasingly complex world. The following dates have already been set: 19 November, 21 January, 18 March, 20 May and 15 July. The working language is English.<br \/>\nThe objectives of these bi-monthly evenings include:<br \/>\n\u2022 Building a community and the EIATSCYP Practitioner Research Network (PRN)<br \/>\n\u2022 Research ethics in therapeutic practice with children and young people<br \/>\n\u2022 Worldviews and relational paradigms in research practice<br \/>\n\u2022 Unravelling qualitative and quantitative research methods<br \/>\n\u2022 Generating research evidence in therapeutic approaches to practice<br \/>\n\u2022 Promoting the value of collecting practice-oriented evidence<br \/>\n\u2022 Developing critical research and analysis and evaluating results<br \/>\nOrganiser Naomi Moore is principal investigator at EIATSCYP and welcomes everyone, regardless of your professional or research experience.
