Co-Lab: a new series of training courses

Care and support workers attend training courses at the Educational Academy to learn more about a specific topic or to master a new methodology. The aim is to improve their professional skills. Sometimes, professional counsellors also feel the desire to work on themselves first and foremost. To respond to this inner calling, we are launching a new series of training courses at the Educational Academy under the name “Co-Lab”.

Co-Lab courses differ from our other courses in three ways:

  • You take a Co-Lab course to work on yourself, to gain personal insights.
  • A Co-Lab course is open to everyone. You may, but do not have to, be a therapist, social worker, care provider, counsellor or coach to take it.
  • The supervisor or teacher of a Co-Lab training course is often an I.V. therapist, but can also be someone outside the Educational Academy.
  • A Co-Lab programme can last 2 or 3 days, but also 8 days or more.

Two Co-Lab courses are currently scheduled.

  • The first is “Mindfulness in 8 Weeks” and starts at the end of August 2025. Anyone can take this Co-Lab training course, either separately or as part of our annual training course “Therapeutic Work with Mindfulness and Compassion”. The course is led by IV therapist and experienced mindfulness trainer Jan Jacobs.
  • The next Co-Lab training course is scheduled for January 2026. “Goddesses and gods in every woman and man” with I.V. therapist Gitte Beaupain as supervisor. You can expect more information about this in the coming weeks.
  • More Co-Lab courses will follow. You can find the complete overview here.

If you have any questions about this new series of training courses or about a specific course, please do not hesitate to contact our secretariat.
