Are you a social worker or carer for children and young people?
Are you interested in the perinatal impact on children, young people and adults?
Are you convinced that connection – feeling SURROUNDED – makes a real difference?
Then we look forward to seeing you on Friday 25 April at “Omringd” (i.e. “Surrounded”), our very first conference for social workers and carers of children and young people. The conference has been fully booked for some time now. We are very much looking forward to reflecting with all participants on the impact that our earliest phase of life has on our well-being as children and adults.
The programme includes:
- Welcome speech, screening of the film “In utero” and keynote speech by Anna Verwaal
- Participation in one of five workshops. Workshop Healing from the body (Kirsten Mintjens), Workshop Attuned Parenting (Jürgen Peeters), Workshop Tactile Talk – participatory performance about non-verbal contact (Katrien Oosterlinck), Workshop Rituals and Connection (Bart van Dijck) and Workshop Focusing with Children – Attuning, Moving with & Connecting (Dinette Kooiman replaces René Veugelers, who is ill).
